Active Release Techniques (ART) soft tissue management system is so different that it has been granted a medical patent. ART providers are trained to palpate, diagnose, and treat over 400 structures. ART uses patient motion with manual therapy to address myofascial adhesions and restrictions. This, in turn, reduces pain patterns and increases range of motion. Our doctors became full body certified in Active Release in 2002, and have earned numerous additional ART certifications, including biomechanics, nerve entrapment, and masters.
Graston Technique is an evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that allows for precise detection and treatment of fascial restrictions as well as muscle and tendon dysfunction. Providers utilize specifically designed instruments to target and treat affected tissues, often resolving issues once thought to be permanent. We're able to successfully treat a wide variety of soft tissue conditions, whether chronic, acute, or post-surgical. Treatment of scar tissue and fascial restrictions results in pain reduction, faster rehabilitation, increased range of motion, and improved function.
Chiropractic care is based on the relationship between structure and function in the human body. Chiropractors are highly skilled in the art of manipulating articulations in the body, thereby reducing or minimizing the effects of chronic or acute trauma and/or bio-mechanical instability or inefficiency. The adjustment is a gentle and specific maneuver, which can be applied effectively and safely to people of all ages.
Movement assessment and kinesiology taping based on the concept of muscles acting as a chain. Taping improves function by providing light support & stability without reducing range of motion, as well as decompressing fascial layers. Specific exercises are assigned to improve strength, stability, and mobility. In combination, these things help speed recovery time, & reduce pain.
We provide non-invasive, drug-free, safe, and gentle treatment for prenatal and postnatal related symptoms. Appropriate care during this special and sensitive time can help ease the pain and discomfort associated with changing pregnant and postnatal bodies. Spinal and pelvic alignment along with soft tissue manipulation and release can help maintain a healthier pregnancy, reduce labor time, decrease the chance of c-section, and overall improve movement and function both during and after pregnancy.
Massage Therapy is a safe, effective & non-invasive form of bodywork. Massage is the application of various manual techniques to muscles & other soft tissues.
